Magaluf Photos

Group pic of the lads at one of the Magaluf beach bars

A liver transplant later & a Lung amputation and were back in the room. The Hammers are back, back from a blinding holiday again down the non stop party place to be, Magaluf (Magalluf). Most likely shortening our life spans by ten years and no doubt some of us may loose a liver later in life, the two weeks were worth it. Consuming more Booze than ever before, drinking more Aftershock than would be medically recommended and Gegg sleeping more hours than are humanly possible. With all this we still managed to stay focused, take pictures and actually got up to some interesting activities. In the mix of all the holiday fun, we even managed to hook up with a lovely bunch on scouse (Liverpool) lasses.

Yet again were back at the Fiesta Jungla and again had top notch apartments which after a few days looked like we were running a Bottle recycling factory with most of the Spar stores san Miguel and Budweiser in our possession. Baz, Fagan, Dodge and Purvis were all in one of the rooms, possibly making the wrong decision to bunk together as the Looba seemed to take a particular interest at room 6108. The others Army, Lee and Gegg all set up camp down the corridor at room 5105 facing the Fiesta Sahara probably not the best room in the house but they were the Guardians of the Vodka of which made them popular in the block.

Fagan outside Revelution

From day one the drink was flowing, Lee on a permanent drip of Black bull (Black aftershock & Red Bull mixed) and rest of the lads supping san Miguel n anything ells they could find with a percentage. The Hammers in Holiday tradition were out every night down the Magalluf strip. Visiting all our favorite haunts from last time (2003). No mater were you go, you get the same patter form the bars PR″s, "come into our bar and we will give you 2 for 1 & a free jug and shots included". Good you say? Yeah its class but its best if you can haggle a little and get as much out of them as you can. With the average 2 for one price around €4 to €5 ya can″t complain. Unless the Bar or club is busy then you get butt fucked and get just the one bottle for €5, bugga.

So were did we go most night? Well as we had our MCP club pass we ended up in Banana″s & Boomerangs every night with such celebrity DJs as Pat Sharp. Pat Sharp you ask? So did we. Supposedly he is some famous guy that did a show called Fun House back in the 90″s. Hmmmm? Baz obviously knew this and went to worship his idol, going on about the joy of meeting Pat all through the build up to his set, until we heard the Fun House theme tune and quickly left realizing how sad we were to be there. Oh and we ended up going to a little place called BCM. A night club that is bloody massive and with such classic DJs as Judge Jules, Tim Westwood and Doc C.

Other quality bars we visited were Revolution, Bar 29, Alex Place, and Poco Loco. We spent a fair bit time over at Poco Loco″s due to the fact that they did Vodka jellies with cream and with Baz leading the way with his love for cream we quickly cleared them out, scoring a canister of whipped cream in a deal, of which mysteriously got nabbed by the Phantom Looba later that night, with Gegg getting a little creamed up back at the apartment.

The Hammers booked up with Freestyle, and when we got to the Hotel we took up the reps package which included various ikle adventures. We would recommend this as it gets your ass out of bed and you might actually get up to some stuff on holiday instead of lounging about the Hotel all day as Gegg did, then going out to the same old bar every night, it structures your holiday a little. All the stuff you might fancy doing is arranged for you and seeming you pay in one lump sum €170 for 7 days or €200 for 14 days you save a little cash as well. What did we get in this package?

If you check out our photo sections you can gain a little more information about our trips on some of these events and surprisingly there are some photos also, and videos if we did any.

Lee, Baz, Army, Fagan at the Pirates show

Probably one of the best nights out was Pirates!! We though it was class, you get unlimited sangria, a bit supper and get to see some boobs. A Pirate themed spectacle with loads of pirate folk dissing the French and carrying out a cabaret type show, with acrobatics n stunts and some other cool stuff we don″t know how to describe. The Hammers loved it, and after the show we had a blast as we went around Magaluf (magalluf) dressed as pirates chasing after peoples loot. Purvis had a previous encounter of this kind so was on a revenge warpath run of pillaging passer-by″s,"Yyyaaaaarrrrr". There are some pictures and that in the Pirate pictures section funny enough.

We spent a lot of time down at the beach and just about every day we managed to get down there. The Magalluf beach is well lush. It″s a canny size and there are sun loungers' if you fancy one of those, or you can set straight down on the sand, which is a little cheaper than getting a sun lounger, the beach is free, loungers' are €3.50 a day. We opted for the lounges so we could get a little shade and so that Fagan could catch up on his sleep with Purvis under the shade too as to not dissolve his skin away and Gegg to keep his milk bottle white tan a nice milk bottle white. Taking advantage of the beach we came up with many games to pass the time such as who can spot the bigger breast, who can drown the other Hammer the most and easy games such a Frisbee N footy with the scouse lasses, Whom were surprisingly good.

The Liverpool Girls, Feona, Lindsey, Kate, Fab, Claire and Daniel

On our fine holiday in the second week wile the Looba was about, we meet up with the Scouse Birds. For all those not from England and those who may have just defrosted out from the dark ages, Scouse people are from Liverpool . Which is located somewhere, em? in England? South of the Toon (Newcastle). Fiona, Lyndsey, Kate, Fab, Claire and Danielle, instantly got on with the Hammers and we mingled for the rest of the holiday and seeming they were staying in the room next door we couldn″t really avoid them. Clubbing it big style with these lovable chicks was a blast and a good laugh. Moments include the massive water fight with us having a temporary swimming pool on the balcony, the girls encounter with the Phantom Looba and Danielle with her trade mark "shoes off" walk back home happy as out with her suppa. The Girls making the second week of the holiday quality. Oh and a big Hammers shout out to Danielle for her big day, when she gets married, aawww, in September 2006(we think its then?).

Dodge and Baz having a Hug

So in the closing paragraph of this rather long patter about our holiday, a summary of the holiday in a few words. After a scary trip to the airport with the sleeping Taxi driver and a canny flight over, we consumed copious amounts of alcohol; Gegg got more sleep than a dead person and gained a partial tan from the halogen lights at the apartment. Purvis went through a dozen layers of pealing skin, a few hundred bottles of san Miguel and turned out to be a dark horse of comedy genius. Craig managed to hit his goal of the perfect tan, which probably will have disappeared as soon as he got home. Lee managed to control the lazy eye most of the time and actually pulled a lovely lass. Baz, well bar being the most photographed of the hammers and giving us a dose of his 'man on the edge' moments, he was a blast. Together with the constant flow of alcohol the arranged excursions we went on, pirates and the booze cruise etc. it was a blinder of a holiday. Anyone going to Magaluf should have a class time. Magalluf 2005 was probably the best holiday the Hammers have ever been on, and recommended to anyone with a taste for hot weather, Larger and a general good time.

If you have made it this far down the page and read everything, thanx. I (Gegg) never though people would get past the first paragraph. so spanx!! oh and thanx for looking from the Hammers.
